JetBrains TeamCity Under Active Attack + 10 More Fixes
JetBrains TeamCity
CISA has added a vulnerability affecting JetBrains TeamCity to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. This specific security flaw is known to be used in ongoing ransomware campaigns. In addition to this, JetBrains has observed active and attempted exploitation directed against unpatched TeamCity servers.
Why it matters: Attackers can successfully achieve remote code execution on compromised systems. This level of access is currently being actively used in ransomware campaigns.
What to do: Apply the appropriate patch to all unpatched TeamCity servers.
CVEs: CVE-2026-63077
Arista VeloCloud Orchestrator (VCO) on-prem
Arista disclosed an actively exploited vulnerability affecting the Arista VeloCloud Orchestrator (VCO) on-prem platform that allows remote access to privileged internal functionality. This issue was originally discovered externally and is known to be actively exploited in the wild.
Why it matters: A remote attacker may successfully access privileged internal functionality. This unauthorized access can directly impact the VCO host.
What to do: Apply the updates provided by Arista for VeloCloud Orchestrator.
CVEs: CVE-2026-93952
Check Point Security Gateway and Spark Firewall
Check Point confirmed active exploitation attempts against its Security Gateway VPN. Security teams are now actively observing these exploitation attempts directed against Check Point Security Gateway and Spark Firewall customers on a global scale.
Why it matters: An unauthenticated remote attacker can successfully execute arbitrary code directly on the Gateway.
What to do: Apply the security patch provided by Check Point for affected Spark devices.
CVEs: CVE-2026-85102, CVE-2026-93616
F5 BIG-IP APM
F5 confirmed active exploitation of a heap-based buffer overflow flaw that leads to remote code execution in F5 BIG-IP APM. It is important to note that the company has learned this specific vulnerability has already been exploited.
Why it matters: Unauthenticated attackers can completely achieve remote code execution on the targeted infrastructure.
What to do: Patch or reconfigure BIG-IP APM virtual servers utilizing OAuth profiles.
CVEs: CVE-2026-94127
WordPress
A recent update patches an unauthenticated local file inclusion vulnerability in WordPress that can lead to remote code execution under certain conditions. Researcher Robert Ressl responsibly disclosed that an unauthenticated attacker can make page template resolution include a chosen readable local PHP file from outside the active theme directories. Attackers are currently probing and using this exact flaw to actively write PHP files.
Why it matters: Attackers can ultimately achieve remote code execution by successfully including these malicious local PHP files.
What to do: Update WordPress installations to version 7.1.2.
CVEs: CVE-2026-87902
Astrana Health
Astrana Health reported a cybersecurity incident involving social engineering and potential unauthorized data access. The incident featured social engineering attempts where threat actors impersonated company personnel and spoofed the main corporate telephone number to contact employees in an effort to gain unauthorized system access. The company currently believes that confidential information residing on its servers was accessed without authorization.
Why it matters: This incident resulted in unauthorized access to company systems and the potential compromise of private or confidential information.
What to do: Implement strict verification protocols for internal communications to thwart social engineering.
GitHub App private keys
GitGuardian discovered that hundreds of leaked GitHub App private keys were still authenticating, including a key linked to the CDC. The researchers found that four hundred seventy-four private keys successfully authenticated on the API as four hundred forty distinct applications. A leaked private key belonged to a CDC-associated GitHub App.
Why it matters: This exposure enables unauthorized API access to the affected organizations’ GitHub accounts.
What to do: Scan repositories for leaked GitHub App private keys and revoke compromised keys immediately.
Services Australia Medicare portal
